The following people were arrested and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:
• 8:39 p.m. Thursday - Shaun Michael Church, 47, of 1033 N. Mullen St., Syracuse, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and being a lifetime habitual traffic violator. Bond: $5,250.
• 8:06 p.m. Saturday - Steven Craig Moody, 63, of 3748 W. CR 100N, Warsaw, arrested for possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish and two charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $700.
• 1:43 a.m. Sunday - Oscar Guerrero-Lopez, 28, Warsaw, arrested for operating a motor vehicle without ever obtaining a license, operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and reckless driving. Bond: $700.
• 1:53 a.m. Sunday - Daniel Romero, 40, of 1861 N. Vicky Lane, Warsaw, arrested for burglary, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, residential entry and pointing a firearm. Bond: $50,250.
• 6:45 p.m. Sunday - Tye Allynn Sommers, 35, of 7246 E. CR 800N, Syracuse, arrested for confinement, sexual battery and failure to provide 911 service. Bond: $5,250.

•8:22 a.m. Friday - Intersection of East U.S. 30 and South CR 450E, Pierceton. Five-vehicle collision. Drivers: Gage M. Wood, 30, Kendavile; Kyle J. Campaniello, 26, Valparaiso; Brian McClurg, 61, Fort Wayne; Mersades R. Vanden, 33 Mishawaka; Andrew Holben, 23, Granville. Injury: McClurg had a contusion to the abdomen/pelvis. Damage: $50,000-$100,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

• 12:42 a.m. Sunday - A person was arrested for intimidation, residential entry and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon in the 900 block of East Garfield Street, Warsaw. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
• 10:28 a.m. Sunday - Domestic battery with moderate bodily injury was reported in the 1100 block of North Slateview Court, Warsaw. KCSO.
• 2:17 p.m. Sunday - Domestic battery - simple assault was reported in the 200 block of South Detroit Street, Warsaw. WPD.
• 6:25 p.m. Sunday - A person was arrested for reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle without ever obtaining a license in the 3800 block of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. KCSO.
• 12:59 a.m. Monday - A death investigation was opened in the 8000 block of East McClintic Road, Syracuse. KCSO.
• 2:31 a.m. Monday - An emergency detention order was requested in the 7100 block of East Heritage Drive, Pierceton. KCSO.
• 3:48 a.m. Monday - A warrant was served in the 100 block of EMS C28 Lane, Warsaw. KCSO.

Valley Opens Sectional Play With Win Over West Noble
The Tippecanoe Valley girls’ win on Tuesday night wasn’t the prettiest, but at this time of year that doesn’t matter. The team was able to survive and advance with a victory in the opening game of the 3A Sectional Tournament at Fairfield, pulling away late to defeat West Noble 40-19.
