• 2:17 p.m. Wednesday - Randall Eric Hopkins, 59, Roann, arrested for felony failure to appear. No bond set.
• 2:39 p.m. Wednesday - Bradley Mitchell Bergman, 27, of 8828 S. South Hill Drive, Silver Lake, arrested for driving a motor vehicle while suspended with a prior suspension and possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug. Bond: $7,500.
• 3:17 p.m. Wednesday - Jose Cordon, 20, of 312 S. Detroit St., Warsaw, arrested for operating a motor vehicle without ever obtaining a license. Bond: $500.

• 12:18 a.m. Tuesday - East CR 225S, 150 feet east of Widaman Street, Warsaw. Car hit deer. Driver: Christopher Sears, 33, North First Street, Pierceton. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. KCSO.
• 7:29 a.m. Tuesday - Intersection of Ind. 13 and CR 500N, North Webster. Pickup-SUV collision. Drivers: Jeremy Morvan, 44, Fort Wayne; Melissa M. Knecht, 44, North Ceyenne Drive, Warsaw. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. KCSO.

• 2:32 p.m. Wednesday - Drug offenses were reported in the 100 block of West Main Street, Warsaw. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
• 3:42 p.m. Wednesday - A person in possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a firearm by a dangerous person was reported in the 100 block of Meijer Drive, Warsaw. WPD.

Valley Opens Sectional Play With Win Over West Noble
The Tippecanoe Valley girls’ win on Tuesday night wasn’t the prettiest, but at this time of year that doesn’t matter. The team was able to survive and advance with a victory in the opening game of the 3A Sectional Tournament at Fairfield, pulling away late to defeat West Noble 40-19.
