The Kosciusko County 4-H Junior Leaders are making a significant impact this holiday season through their annual Adopt-a-Family community service project, in partnership with Combined Community Services of Warsaw.
This initiative aims to bring joy and support to local families in need during the festive season, according to a news release from 4-H Junior Leaders.
The 4-H Junior Leaders, a group of young individuals committed to community service and leadership, have worked to identify families in need and provide them with essential items and holiday gifts. This year, the 4-H Junior Leaders adopted two families.
The Adopt-a-Family project involves collecting donations and/or purchasing of food, clothing, toys and other essential items from the community. The Junior Leaders then wrap and deliver these gifts to the adopted families.
Community members who wish to contribute to this initiative can contact Combined Community Services of Warsaw to gather more information.
