Pierceton Fire Dept. Holds Annual Christmas Dinner & Awards Ceremony

PIERCETON - On Sunday, Dec. 15, the Pierceton Volunteer Fire Department held its annual Christmas dinner and awards ceremony.
Chris Phifer, retired, received a 15 years of service award.
Chuck See, retired, received a 39 years of service award.

Don Ellison received a chief’s award for his dedication.
Jared Smith was selected Firefighter of the Year by the members of the department.
Carla Quintero-Baker was selected First Responder of the Year by members of the department.
Retired Chief Gordon Baker and Chet Goodman (not present) were also honored with the retirees.
The Pierceton Volunteer Fire Department would like to thank the families of the firefighters and first responders for supporting them while they leave thier family to go help those in the community during what is sometimes the worst day of a community members life.
