Old National Awarded By Mid-States Minority Supplier Development Council

EVANSVILLE – Old National Bancorp was awarded as the Local Corporate Member of the Year by the Mid-States Minority Supplier Development Council (MSDC). The award was announced in November at the Mid-States 2024 Annual Awards Luncheon at The Heirloom in Indianapolis.
The Mid-States MSDC’s mission is to accelerate economic growth by driving opportunities and collaboration between corporations and minority businesses.
“Old National Bank recognizes the importance of being intentional about fostering diversity, equity and inclusion in all of our business practices,” says Roland Shelton, chief strategic business partnerships officer, Old National, who co-manages the program with Kawn Watters, chief procurement officer. “Our ever-evolving supplier diversity program is a collaboration that has resulted in a forward-leaning vision, strategy and delivery focused on sustainability and positive community and environmental impact.”
In the award year 2023, Old National spent $19.1 million with diverse suppliers out of a total $27.3 million spent with small businesses.
