On behalf of Warsaw Community Schools, thank you for the pride and support showcased throughout the fall. Our first semester has been filled with extraordinary student achievements in academics, arts, clubs, and extracurricular activities. Thanksgiving weekend brought a showcase of student-athletic achievement with a first-ever appearance in the IHSAA football state finals.
What made the state finals even more special was the Warsaw Tiger Pride of our community. Indianapolis was flooded with a sea of orange shirts representing thousands of students and fans. Our community sent busloads of football players, coaches, student media teams, cheerleaders, band, cheer block and community members, along with many who traveled by car to cheer on the Tigers!
This support and Tiger pride would not have been possible without our amazing community. Throughout the entire playoffs and culminating in the state finals, businesses and individuals stepped forward to show support by sponsoring student tickets, meals, transportation and shirts.
The pride and support shown by our community will have a lasting impact beyond the great achievement of the football game. I witnessed many of the “next generation” of Warsaw Tigers and community leaders soaking in the atmosphere that makes the Warsaw community so special.
Thank you to the greater Warsaw community for the support and reminder of why the Warsaw Community truly is a special place. Go Tigers!
