South Whitley Approves Computer Upgrades

SOUTH WHITLEY – At Tuesday night's meeting, the South Whitley Town Council approved a $6,591.07 quote for server and computer tower upgrades at the clerk's office.
Council heard a presentation from Marquell Robinson of Globe Life Insurance regarding options for town employees' benefits.
Council member Brock Waterson asked for updates on the closing date for the sale of 206 and 208 S. State St., which has not yet been scheduled, and for clarification on whether or not the downtown facade grants were matching grants. The grants are matching for up to $5,000.
Appointments to redevelopment and planning commission were tabled until the next meeting.
Council will next meet at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 23.
