August 10, 2024 at 1:00 a.m.

INDIANAPOLIS – McGowan Insurance Group has been named the Indiana Agency of the Year by Keystone Insurers Group (Keystone), an agency network located in 31 states.
The award recognizes agencies within Keystone’s footprint that exemplify growth and innovation beyond just sales, including technology, best practices, community service and leadership within the industry.
The national agency of the year selected among all state agencies of the year will be announced at Keystone’s national conference on Sept. 17 in Columbus, Ohio.
Keystone’s mission is to deliver more than premium aggregation through a unique model that differentiates independent agencies regardless of where they are in their life cycle, according to the release from McGowan.
“There is strength in numbers. We no longer feel isolation; we have a network of peers and partners to rely on. The staff from Keystone has been singularly focused on helping us improve as an agency. Additionally, Keystone has created opportunities that have surpassed our expectations. From the beginning, we benefited from the support of our peers and partners. Many of these individuals have since become integral parts of our own agency,” said principals Hugh M. McGowan and Todd Jackson.
