KHRA To Host Annual Conference For Supervisors And HR Pros

WINONA LAKE - Keynote speaker Ron Lewis with The RSL Group is back by popular demand for two keynote sessions on Sept. 29 at the annual Kosciusko Human Resources Association (KHRA) conference.
The topic sessions, “Diversity: All Around Us” and “6G Self-Care System,” will provide you skills to influence your workplaces, communities and personal relationships while also empowering your mental health and self-care, according to a news release provided by KHRA.
Lewis is the founder of Lewis Way Leadership Development (LWLD), a professional development and consulting firm that supports organizations and businesses to achieve workplace synergy and harmony.
He graduated from Barry University with both his bachelor's and master's degrees, graduated from Indiana Tech with his Ph.D. and recently graduated from the University of Saint Francis with an MBA concentrating in marketing. After four years in the non-profit industry, Lewis transitioned to higher education. He taught undergraduate and graduate collegiate courses, including Managing Human Resources, Leading Change Management, Organizational Development and Culture. He uses relatable principles accompanied by compassionate stories from his experiences and research throughout his doctoral education. His recent appointment as assistant professor and director of the Marketing and Sports Management Program at the University of Saint Francis illustrates his continued dedication to inspiring, training and teaching others, the release states.
Throughout the day, additional speakers will present on topics such as “We Can’t Keep Meeting Like This,” “Building Candidate Experiences to Attract Top Talent,” “Quiet Quitting” among others.

The one-day conference will take place at Christ Covenant Church in Winona Lake on Sept. 29 from 7:30 a.m. until 4:15 p.m. KHRA members’ registration fee is $100 and non-members’ registration fee is $150. Visit khra.shrm.org to register your company’s leaders by Sept. 22.
