There will be three at-large seats up for election in 2024, and Rachael Rhoades has announced she will be a candidate for one of those positions as a Republican.
According to a news release provided by Rhoades, she is committed to continue her tradition of effective leadership in the business world and stand up for the taxpayers of Kosciusko County.
From Pierceton, she said she is a farmer’s wife and mother of two children, as well as a third-generation small business owner with her family. They own EF Rhoades and Sons and Cottage Watchman Security, both well-established businesses of many years. She stated she is deeply committed to her family, community and Christian faith.
“Over the past 10 years, I have become involved in the community, serving as both a member and ambassador of the Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce, the Syracuse/Wawasee Chamber of Commerce and the Akron Chamber of Commerce. I am very involved with the Builders Association of North Central Indiana and the Indiana Builders Association. I am an active member of the Wawasee Kiwanis Club and the Kosciusko County Republican Women’s Club,” she stated in her release.
“I will strive to be an advocate for our Kosciusko taxpayers by working with local and state leaders to ensure the county maintains its fiscal responsibilities. I am honored to have and will continue to serve the organizations I am committed to and look forward to bringing their values to the council. As we move forward in our campaign, I am eager to hear what you, my fellow taxpayers, have to say.”
Rhoades plans to kickstart her campaign from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 16 at The Owl’s Nest in North Webster.
