The board of directors of the National RV Dealers Association (RVDA) presented Syracuse resident Sherm Goldenberg and Minnesota RV dealer Dan Pearson of PleasureLand RV Center with RVDA Titan Awards Nov. 8 during the RV Dealers Convention/Expo in Las Vegas.
Goldenberg served as publisher of two national trade journals, RVBusiness and Woodall’s Campground Magazine, until February when he and then-partner Gregg Fore sold their respective shares in Elkhart-based G&G Media Group LLC. Goldenberg continues to work as a senior editor with G&G’s current owners, Publisher Rick Kessler and COO Scott Stropkai.
“This prestigious award recognizes pioneering individuals who have made significant contributions to the RV industry and RV travel over the course of their career,” said 2023 RVDA Chairman Nathan Hart of Walnut Ridge Family RV Sales in New Castle, in announcing the award, which was posthumously presented at Paris Las Vegas to the family of Pearson, a former RVDA chairman who passed away in early October.
