Tippecanoe Valley Approves Annual Teachers Contract

AKRON — The Tippecanoe Valley School Board approved its annual contract with the Tippecanoe Valley Classroom Teachers’ Association at a special meeting Tuesday.
The agreement calls for teachers with bachelor’s degrees to have raises in a range of $400 to $1,200. Those with master’s degrees will have raises between $800 to $2,400.
The overall salary range goes from $44,175 to $78,250. Insurance costs for teachers will rise by 1%.
The salary changes will take effect Nov. 24, with teachers receiving backpay from the beginning of the 2023-24 year.
