Baseball

Triton at Caston


Triton was unable to offer much resistance in a 16-0 loss to Caston Tuesday evening. The Trojans are now 8-15 this season, 4-9 in the Hoosier North Athletic Conference.

Triton was held hitless in the game, with the team’s only baserunner coming on a walk by Hunter Schaetzle.

Triton will look to get revenge on the Comets Thursday evening when the two teams play once again in Bourbon.

Softball

Warsaw at Elkhart


Warsaw came up just short in a high-scoring affair Tuesday night, dropping its road game to Elkhart 8-7. The Lady Tigers are now 2-18 this season.

It was a huge night at the plate for Jadelyn Walters, who finished her day going 2-4 with a double and five runs driven in. Lauren Eastwood also had a great day hitting, going 4-5 with an RBI.

Warsaw is at home Thursday night for a conference showdown with Mishawaka.

Winamac at Triton

Triton dropped its third game in a row Tuesday night, falling 9-4 to Winamac at home, The Trojans end the regular season with a 2-18 record, 2-5 in the Hooiser North Athletic Conference.

Triton will begin its sectional journey Tuesday night against Oregon-Davis at Westville.

Golf

Tippecanoe Valley/Wabash at Northfield


Tippecanoe Valley split its conference three-way meet with Wabash and Northfield Tuesday evening, tallying a 177.

Greg Miller once again led the team with his medalist round of 38. Eli Love finished with a 44 and Wes Parker shot a 46.

The Vikings will take on Manchester and Whitko Thursday night at Sycamore Golf Course.
