NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

CITY OF WARSAW REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION

    Notice is hereby given that the City of Warsaw Redevelopment Commission (the “Commission”) will accept sealed proposals at the Commission’s office located at City Hall, 102 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Indiana, up to the hour of 3:00 p.m. (local time) on May 17, 2023.  Notice is further given that at a public meeting of the Commission to be held on a date and at a time to be determined by the Commission in the Common Council Chambers, located at 102 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Indiana, the Commission shall open and consider each proposal pursuant to Indiana Code 36-7-14-22, for the purchase of certain real property described below and being made available for development purposes.  The Commission shall provide notice of such meeting (i) to anyone submitting a sealed proposal and (ii) in accordance with Indiana Code 5-3-1.

    The property to be disposed of includes:  

1. S Side 47-foot Lot 3 Jaques Addition

2. Lots M-12 thru 14 Buffalo Street Townhomes Subdivision Phase 1

3. Lots TH 10 & 11 Buffalo Street Townhomes Subdivision Phase 1

4. North PT M-11 Buffalo Street Townhomes Subdivision Phase 1

5. North PT TH 9 Buffalo Street Townhomes Subdivision Phase 1

6. South PT TH 8 Buffalo Street Townhomes Subdivision Phase 1

7. South PT TH 6 Buffalo Street Townhomes Subdivision Phase 1

8. Lots TH 4 & 5 Buffalo Street Townhomes Subdivision Phase 1

9. Lots M 7, 6, & 5 Buffalo Street Townhomes Subdivision Phase 1

10. North PT M-4 Buffalo Street Townhomes Subdivision Phase 1

11. North PT TH 4 Buffalo Street Townhomes Subdivision Phase 1

    The Offering Sheet, containing a description of, and the minimum offering price for, the property described above and terms upon which the sale shall be awarded, as well as certain limitations on the use to be made of the property described above, is available for review at the office of the Commission, located at 102 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Indiana.

    Each proposal shall be executed in the manner provided for in the Offering Sheet and must be submitted in an envelope marked “Proposal for Redevelopment Commission Property (Buffalo Street Residential Development).”  Pursuant to Indiana Code 36-7-14-22, any proposal submitted by a trust (as defined in Indiana Code 30-4-1-1(a)) must identify each (i) beneficiary of the trust and (ii) settlor empowered to revoke or modify the trust.

    The Commission reserves the right to reject all proposals, or, in its sole discretion, to continue discussions with one or more persons or entities that have submitted a proposal or any other interested parties.
