Beverly A. Moody, 85, of Warsaw, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at  Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Beverly was born June 26, 1937, in Michigan, the daughter of the late Russell and Helen Lucas Himes.

She retired in 1999 after 35 years of service as a glove bundler with Jomac Inc. Country music was of her favorites. In her spare time, she enjoyed needle point and camping. Beverly cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith and attended the Wayside Baptist Church, Warsaw.

Beverly will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Cheryl Blair, Atwood; and Ruby Schoettmer, Warsaw; son,Steve Moody, Etna Green; one sister, Sharon McNees, Joelton, Tenn.; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday May 4 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. Funeral services in celebration of Beverly’s life will begin at 1 p.m. in the funeral chapel with Pastor Terry Bradford officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
