On March 18 at 4 p.m., Dr. Simona Barbu, celloist, and Dr. Nariaki Seguira, pianist, will perform a classical chamber concert free for the community in the newly renovated sanctuary of the Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 210 S High St., Warsaw. Barbu is an assistant professor and Burgum endowed chair at the University of North Dakota, where she has been teaching cello, string bass and chamber music since 2011. Sugiura is an associate professor of piano and collaborative piano at the University of North Dakota, while also holding visiting faculty positions at East China Normal University in Shanghai and InterHarmony International School of Music.

County Issues Burn Ban Effective Immediately
Kosciusko County issued a burn ban effective at noon Wednesday. Neighboring Marshall and Fulton counties already had a ban in place.
