AKRON – Cowen Dean Kumler, 16, Rochester, died Sunday, July 16, 2023, at Memorial Hospital of South Bend.
Cowen was born on Oct. 5, 2006, in Logansport, to Charles R. Kumler and Amber L. Utter.
The funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 24 at Rochester Community High School, Rochester. Interment will take place in the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery following the service. Visitation hours will be 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 23 at Rochester Community High School, Rochester.
Memorial contributions can be made in Cowen’s memory to help in assisting the family to create the Cowen Kumler Memorial Scholarship Fund for welding. Envelopes will be made available at the services as well as at the funeral home.
