She was born on a farm in Whitley County, on March 28, 1932, to Nellie Marie Redman Schoenauer and Daniel Edward Schoenauer. She was married to Rev. Emmett L. Anderson on June 8, 1952. Emmett died Nov. 13, 2014.
Barbara’s life will be celebrated with a graveside service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18 and officiated by Rev. Brian Smith. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband at South Whitley Cemetery in South Whitley. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.
Memorial donations may be directed to First United Methodist Church, 179 S. Indiana St., Warsaw, IN 46580; or to Grace Village Retirement Community, 337 Grace Village Drive, Winona Lake, IN 46590.
