Northern Indiana Public Service Company (NIPSCO) (2755 Raystone Drive, Valparaiso, Indiana 46383) is submitting a Notice of Intent to the Indiana Department of Environmental Management of our intent to comply with the requirements of the Construction Stormwater General Permit in order to discharge storm water runoff from land disturbance project activity. This planned discharge is associated with the NIPSCO Jackson Road to Warsaw ILI Retrofit Project - located in St. Joseph, Marshall, Elkhart, and Kosciusko Counties, Indiana, centrally located at 41.442876, -86.036407.  The storm water runoff from this project will discharge (directly or via unnamed tributaries) to Rogers Ditch, Grimes Ditch, Leman Birk Newcomer Ditch, Lateral Number Five, Sarah Hershberger Ditch, Armey Ditch, Dausman Ditch, Pole Run Ditch, the Tippecanoe River, and Marsh Ditch. Ultimately, the storm water runoff is received by the St. Joseph River and the Tippecanoe River.  Questions or comments regarding this project should be directed to Steve Barker of NIPSCO at the above address.
