Girls Basketball

The Hoosier Plains Conference postseason awards were announced Thursday, honoring a pair of local athletes.

Lakeland Christian senior Mattie Stonebreaker as well as her sister, freshman Reese Stonebreaker, were selected to first team all-conference. Mattie was also selected to the academic all-conference team. The Times-Union would like to congratulate the Stonebreaker sisters on fantastic seasons.

Baseball

The registration dates for the Silver Lake Youth Baseball League have been announced. Registration will take place at Silver Lake Town Hall on March 4 from noon to 3 p.m. as well as March 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
