Notice is hereby given, that the Kosciusko County Area Plan Commission shall hold a public hearing to discuss the amendment, revision, and addition of the following sections of the Kosciusko County Zoning Ordinance;
Zoning Ordinance:
3.5 Accessory Uses/Structures:
3.5.1 Accessory uses and structures such as private garages are permitted in all districts in conjunction with the primary use or structure provided the accessory use does not change the character of the district in which it is located and is located on the same property as the principle structure. With a Residentially zoned district the following size limitations, in Table D, shall apply to all accessory structures, except as permitted by the Board of Zoning Appeals in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance.
3.5.2 Movable Agricultural accessory structures shall be permitted in conjunction with any permitted livestock operation in an agriculturally zoned area. Said structures shall not exceed 400 sq. ft. in size. In permitting an agricultural accessory structure under this section a detailed plan shall be submitted indicating the size, original location , and the defined area in which the structure may be moved within. Once an improvement location permit is issued for said structure the original structure can be located anywhere within the predefined area without further permits. If the structure is removed from the property or altered a new improvement location permit must be obtained prior to a new building being placed, altered, or rebuilt.
Said amendment, revision, and addition to the Kosciusko County Zoning Ordinance shall, if adopted, apply to those unincorporated areas of Kosciusko County as well as those participating municipalities within the County including the Town of Syracuse, Town of Milford, Town of North Webster, Town of Etna Green, Town of Pierceton, Town of Burket, Town of Claypool, Town of Leesburg, and the Town of Silver Lake. Copies of the proposed amendments can be found on the Kosciusko County Area Plan Commission website at www. kcgov.com or in the Area Plan Commission Offices.
This Hearing will be held in the Commissioners meeting room on the 3rct floor of the Kosciusko County Courthouse at 100 W. Center St., Warsaw, Indiana, on Wednesday the pt day ofMarch 2023 at 1:00 P.M. All interested persons are invited to attend and be heard. Written comments will be considered if they are received in the Office if the Kosciusko County Area Plan Commission, Warsaw, Indiana, no later than 12:00 Noon on the day of the hearing. Copies of the proposals are available upon request in the Kosciusko County Area Plan Commission Office.
