Shawn was born Dec. 18, 1987, in Warsaw, the son of Richard Collins and Rita Ann Roberts.
Shawn loved spending time with his kids and his fiancée Tiffany. He enjoyed making people laugh and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. He enjoyed fishing, listening to music and watching horror movies.
Shawn will be lovingly remembered by his children, Kyler Surface, of Claypool; Alexus and Gabriela, Micah, of Warsaw; Kaydence and Shawn Jr., of Kentucky; fiancée Tiffany Marroquin, of Warsaw; brothers, Brian (Tammy) Eugene Coon, of Warsaw; and Chandler Collins; sister, Martha Collins; stepfather, Jeff Trump, of Warsaw; stepbrother, Chris Prater; nephew, Anthony, of Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews who loved him dearly and his dog Letty. He was preceded in passing by his mother, Rita Roberts; grandparents, Jim and Deloris Roberts and William and Mary Martha Collins; and uncles, Chuck Roberts, Brent Hale.
A visitation with family and friends will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. Funeral services in celebration of Shawn’s life will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral chapel with Pastor Glen Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, at a later date.
