Boys Soccer
Argos at Warsaw

Warsaw boys soccer remains undefeated after a big home win Tuesday night. The Tigers defeated Argos 7-0 to improve to 2-0 on the young season.
Six different Tigers scored goals in the game, led by Knox Ritter, who notched a brace with two. Noah Van Puffelen, Matt Marsh, Eduardo Escutia, Isaiah Lara and Callen O’Brien all scored as well. Raul Carbajal and Finley Bailey combined for the shutout in net.
Warsaw is on the road Thursday evening for a match with South Bend St. Joseph.
Lakeland Christian at Elkhart Christian
Lakeland Christian soccer opened up its season on the road Tuesday night, falling 3-0 to Elkhart Christian. The Cougars begin the campaign with an 0-1 record.
All three of Elkhart Christian’s goals came in the first 30 minutes of the match. Lakeland Christian attempted four shots on goal and were led in net by Braden Weirick, who saved eleven shots for the Cougars.
LCA is back in action Saturday at home against Bethany Christian.
Volleyball
Warsaw at Fort Wayne Concordia

Warsaw volleyball earned its first win of the season Tuesday evening, defeating Fort Wayne Concordia 3-1 (25-19, 19-25, 25-23, 25-19) on the road. The Lady Tigers are now 1-2 in the early season.
Maggie Hollon led the Tiger attack with 14 kills, followed by Leah Henderson and Melaina Hawblitzel’s 10. Ellie Hepler added 27 digs for Warsaw while Makenzie Chivington led the team in assists with 28.
The Lady Tigers will look to make it two wins in a row Thursday night when the team hosts Huntington North in its first game at the Tiger Den this fall.
Manchester at Peru
Manchester volleyball picked up its second straight win to start the season on Tuesday evening, defeating conference foe Peru 3-0 (25-16, 25-10, 25-12). The Lady Squires are now 2-0 this season, 1-0 in the Three Rivers Conference.
Manchester was led offensively by 13 kills from McKelvey Espeset. Peyton Ream had a massive night getting her teammates the ball, racking up 32 assists. Ream and Myla Crozier each had eight digs, while Paxton Baker led the team with nine.
The Lady Squires will look to make it three wins in a row Thursday night when the team hosts Oak Hill.
Lakeland Christian at Whitko
Whitko volleyball opened up its season with a win over Lakeland Christian Tuesday evening, taking the match 3-1 (25-18, 25-19, 25-27, 25-21). The Lady ‘Cats are now 1-0 this season while the Lady Cougars fall to 1-4.
Audra Brandenburg led Whitko in kills with 19 and blocks with four. Madison Cripe had four aces and 32 digs to lead the team. Katelyn Cripe had 36 assists.
Both teams are back in action Thursday evening, with the Lady ‘Cats traveling to Columbia City and Lakeland Christian hosting Lakewood Park Christian.
Girls Golf
Homestead at Warsaw

Warsaw was unable to come away with a win in its non-conference duel match with Homestead Tuesday evening, losing 151-189 at Stonehenge Golf Course.
Olivia Robinson-Gay paced the Lady Tigers by shooting a 41. Not far behind her was Abbey Peterson, who finished with a 43. The one-two combination of Robinson-Gay and Peterson continues to be Warsaw’s bread and butter.
The Lady Tigers will host the Warsaw Invite on Saturday.
Triton/Caston at Manchester
Triton earned its first win of the season on Tuesday evening, defeating Caston 182-202 at Manchester. The Lady Squires did not have enough golfers to qualify for scoring. It’s the first victory for Triton first-year head coach Nick Kindig.
Chloe McKinney paced the Lady Trojans and the rest of the field with a 53 on the day to earn medalist honors. Finishing second on the team was Brooke Kitch with a 62. Addie Reid led Manchester with a 60, followed by Chloe Schannep and her 63.
Manchester hosts Fort Wayne Canterbury on Thursday, while Triton is off until Monday, when the team faces off with Bremen and Tippecanoe Valley in a three-way match.
Boys Tennis
Fort Wayne Northrop at Whitko
Whitko boys tennis opened up its season with a home loss to Fort Wayne Northrop on Tuesday evening. The Wildcats are now 0-1 to start the campaign.
The lone Whitko win came in the No. 1 doubles match, where Kazuhiro Oh and Isaac Long earned a 6-4, 6-1 victory. No. 3 singles player Aiden Baldridge fought hard in his match, but eventually suffered a 3-6, 5-7 defeat.
The Wildcats will look to get into the win column Monday night on the road at Columbia City.

Family Safety Day Offers A Lot Of Activity In One Location
