Girls Soccer
Tippecanoe Valley at Culver Community

It was a tough start to the season for the Tippecanoe Valley Lady Vikings soccer team on Monday, as the squad began the second year in the program’s history with a 9-1 loss to Culver Community on the road. Tippecanoe Valley begins the season at 0-1 and will try again for its first win next Monday on the road against NorthWood.
Columbia City at Manchester
Manchester girls soccer began the season with a tough home loss to Columbia City Monday evening, falling 2-1. The Lady Squires begin the season with an 0-1 record.
The lone Manchester goal came off the boot of Campbell Bolinger. Lady Squire goalkeeper Grace Smith made eight saves in net.
Manchester will look to pick up its first win of the year Wednesday evening at home against Mississinewa.
Volleyball
Triton at John Glenn

Triton volleyball began its season with a big road win over John Glenn Monday night, winning 3-1 (25-23, 25-15, 20-25, 25-19). The Lady Trojans are now 1-0 this fall.
Addyson Viers led the team in kills with 12. Not far behind her was Lena Doll with 10. Doll also led the team in aces with four. Macie Hensley had four blocks to lead all players and Triton’s assist leader was Hannah Snyder with 22.
Triton is back in action Monday night on the road at Rochester.
Girls Golf
Warsaw/Northridge at Plymouth

Warsaw girls golf opened up Northern Lakes Conference play by splitting its three-way match with Northridge and Plymouth at Pretty Lake Golf Club Monday evening. The Lady Tigers defeated Plymouth 172-177 but fell 168-172 to Northridge.
Abbey Peterson was the event’s medalist after finishing her round with a one-over par 37. Her teammate Oliva Robinson-Gay finished tied for second place with a 39. Abigail Davis rounded out the Warsaw top three with a 41.
The Lady Tigers face off with Huntington North on Wednesday evening.
