NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR BIDS

FOR SALE OF CERTAIN PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED BY

THE WARSAW REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION

    Notice is hereby given that the City of Warsaw, Indiana, Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission"), the governing body of the City of Warsaw, Indiana (the "City"), Department of Redevelopment, will accept at the Commission's office, located at City Hall, 102 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Indiana, sealed proposals up to the hour of 3:00 p.m. (local time) on April 28, 2023, for the sale of certain personal property more particularly described below (the "Property").  Notice is further given that at a public meeting of the Commission to be held on May 1, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. (local time), in the Council Chambers located at City Hall, the Commission shall open and consider each proposal pursuant to Indiana Code 36-7-14-22 for the sale of the Property which consists of One VC999 C6N and Four VC999 vacuum packaging machines, with IP66 400V transformer, positioning plate, clamps, holding down rollers, and memory stick with programing C6 logfiles and related and necessary accessories.

    The Offering Sheet containing a description of the Property and the offering price for the Property and terms upon which the disposition shall be awarded, as well as certain limitations on the use to be made of the Property, is available for review at the Commission’s office, located at the City Hall, 102 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Indiana. The Commission has determined to follow as closely as possible the provisions of Indiana Code 36-7-14-22 to dispose of the Property as Indiana Code 36-7-14 lacks a specific process for the disposition of personal property.

    Each proposal shall be executed in the manner provided for in the Offering Sheet.  Pursuant to Indiana Code 36-7-14-22, any proposal submitted by a trust (as defined in Indiana Code 30-4-1-1(a)) must identify each (i) beneficiary of the trust and (ii) settlor empowered to revoke or modify the trust.
