Culver Community at Triton

BOURBON – Triton won its third game in a row Friday night, stomping Culver Community 42-0 to improve to 3-1 and 2-1 in the Hoosier North Athletic Conference.

Anthony Schuh continued what has been a remarkable junior season with 127 yards rushing and four touchdowns. Cole Shively added 54 yards on the ground and 52 yards in the air, along with a touchdown pass to Dante Workman.

Triton is at home again on Friday, hosting Pioneer.

Concord at Wawasee

Wawasee dropped its Northern Lakes Conference matchup with Concord Friday night, losing 16-0. The Warriors are on the road this Friday night at Northridge.

Manchester at Northfield

Manchester is still searching for its first win of the season after falling 48-27 to Northfield Friday night. The Squires are now 0-5, 0-4 in the Three Rivers Conference.

Brock Casper threw for 158 yards as well as two touchdowns. Logan Eastgate and Reiss Gaerte caught touchdown receptions, and Gaerte led all Squires receivers with 46 yards. Mason Rooney had 54 yards rushing and a score.

Manchester hosts Southwood on Friday night.

Boys Soccer

Tippecanoe Valley at Huskie Invite

Tippecanoe Valley continued its stellar play of late, going undefeated on Saturday to win the Huskie Invite. The Vikings are now 9-3 this season.

Tippy Valley earned a 6-3 win over Hamilton Heights and beat Indianapolis Scecina Memorial 4-2. The Vikings are back in action Monday at Mississinewa.

Lakeland Christian at Peru

Lakeland Christian won yet again on Saturday, defeating Peru 2-0 on the road. The Cougars are now 5-6 this season.

Adrian Bowdler scored the first game in the 15th minute off an assist from Andrew Bosch. A few minutes later, Bosch would get a goal of his own off of an assist by Nate Reimink.

LCA travels to Manchester Tuesday.

Warsaw, Homestead Duel To Scoreless Draw
Homestead and Warsaw met at the Tiger Soccer Complex Wednesday night in a battle of two of the top teams in the northern half of the state. The game was ultra competitive with both sides putting together plenty of chances, but no goals, with the game ending in a 0-0 tie.

County Issues Burn Ban Effective Immediately
Kosciusko County issued a burn ban effective at noon Wednesday. Neighboring Marshall and Fulton counties already had a ban in place.
