NOTICE  OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ORDINANCE

BY THE TOWN OF LEESBURG, INDIANA

Pursuant to Indiana Code 5-3-1, notice is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Leesburg, Indiana will hold a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. local time on Monday, November 14, 2022, at the Leesburg Town Hall, 100 E Van Buren Street, Leesburg, Indiana 46538, to hear public input and consider the enactment of an ordinance amending the Town of Leesburg’s existing refuse ordinance, codified at Town of Leesburg, Indiana Code, Section 92.03 et seq.

    Information regarding the Town of Leesburg’s existing refuse ordinance is available at Town of Leesburg, Indiana Code, Section 92.03. A copy of the proposed amendments to the refuse ordinance is on file for inspection in the office of the Leesburg Clerk-Treasurer located at 100 E Van Buren Street, Leesburg, Indiana 46538. The proposed ordinance can be reviewed Monday-Friday between the hours of

9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

    The public hearing is open to all and the opportunity to be heard is given to all. Written comments filed with the Leesburg Clerk-Treasurer prior to the public hearing will be considered. Written comments can be submitted to [email protected] or mailed to Town of Leesburg, Attn: Michael Searfoss, 100 E Van Buren Street, Leesburg, Indiana 46538. Letters may also be submitted. The public hearing may be continued from time to time as necessary. Questions regarding the proposed ordinance should be directed to the Leesburg Clerk-Treasurer’s Office at 574-453-3315.
