The first First Friday of 2022 is Friday.

The event is 5 to 8 p.m. and will include a cruise-in, a band, Mother’s Day cards, cornhole, pillows and sheets donation for Fellowship Missions, food, Animal Welfare League and putt putt.

There will be some kind of cruise-in at most First Fridays events this year, according to information provided by Main Street Warsaw. Friday’s is sponsored by NAPA Auto Parts and Boggs Automotive.

The band, Decades, will take the stage around 5:30 p.m. on Buffalo Street over by Old National Bank.

LaunchPad will have a booth where children can make Mother’s Day cards for their mom.

Cornhole boards will be around downtown for anyone who just wants to play.

Kosciusko Youth Adult Professionals is collecting new pillows and sets of twin sheets for Fellowship Missions.

Restaurants downtown will have picnic tables in the street in front of their restaurants and will extend service to those tables for the evening. Hogs R Wild and The Igloo also will be there in the parking plaza behind City Hall.

Weather permitting, Animal Welfare League will be on hand with dogs that are available for adoption. Indiana Pony Parties will be providing a petting zoo.

A new business in town, Pop Up Putt Putt, will offer nine holes of putt putt. It will be on the street in front of Mad Anthony’s. It’s just for fun, but there will be a minimal cost to play.

First Friday is sponsored by Main Street Warsaw, Willie 103.5 FM, city of Warsaw, 107.3 WRSW and the Dr. Dane and Mary Louise Miller Foundation.
