This week, the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce gave Kosciusko Kudos recognition to Warsaw Chemical.

During the pandemic, Warsaw Chemical started making hand sanitizer to help fill a great need in the community, according to a news release from the Chamber. Now, they are continuing their efforts by giving cases away for free to any local nonprofit or area business who needs it.

Warsaw Chemical has been a member of the Kosciusko County community for over 80 years. Starting this week, they are offering their Defend Plus Hand Sanitizer at no cost to any area organization in need.

Defend Plus Alcohol Hand Sanitizer is an instant, clear, dye-free gel confirmed to kill 99.9% of the most common germs that may cause illness in as little as 15 seconds. Formulated with 70% ethyl alcohol and aloe vera, hands will feel soft and clean even after repeated use, the news release states. It is also FDA approved.

Warsaw Chemical is giving away cases of four 1-gallon bottles. Nonprofits may take a maximum of 10 cases and for-profit businesses may take a maximum of two cases. More may be available upon request.

Cases can be picked up in their lobby or warehouse located at 390 Argonne Road, Warsaw, between 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

In addition, Williams Supply, an authorized distributor of Warsaw Chemical products, will be offering free cases to customers at their location at 826 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw.
