Goshen Physicians Sleep & Allergy Medicine Welcomes Nurse Practitioners

GOSHEN – Deborah Risa, NP-C, and Katherine O’Toole, NP-C, have joined Goshen Physicians Sleep & Allergy Medicine. The nurse practitioners diagnose and treat adults and teenagers with sleep-disordered breathing, allergies and asthma.

Previously, Risa and O’Toole were associated with the Sneeze & Snooze Clinic, which Goshen Physicians purchased in July. They continue to manage care for patients with sleep problems, such as obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy and sleep-related movement disorders.

"Sleep quality plays an important role in heart health and can affect our overall well-being," said Randy Christophel, Goshen Health president and chief executive officer. “Debbie and Katy’s transition to our Sleep & Allergy Medicine practice allows us to maintain continuity of care with patients and help them get the sleep they need.”

Risa received a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Goshen College in Goshen. O’Toole also earned a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Goshen College.
