NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE CITY OF WARSAW, INDIANA, REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION REGARDING AMENDMENT OF THE

WINONA INTERURBAN REDEVELOPMENT AREA FOR THE PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING A NEW ALLOCATION AREA

    Notice is hereby given that the City of Warsaw, Indiana, Redevelopment Commission (the “Commission”) will conduct a public hearing at its regular monthly meeting on March 7, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. (local time) in the Common Council Chambers at City Hall, 102 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Indiana, 46580 to consider proposed amendments to the Declaratory Resolution, as previously amended (the “Declaratory Resolution”), and the Redevelopment Plan (the “Plan”) previously approved by the Commission in connection with the Winona Interurban Redevelopment Area and related Allocation Area. The proposed amendments, which have been preliminarily approved pursuant to a resolution adopted by the Commission on February 1, 2021 (the “Resolution”), would amend the Declaratory Resolution and the Plan to designate an area, presently part of the existing Allocation Area, and described at Exhibit A to the Resolution, as a separate allocation area pursuant to Section 39 of the Act (the “Amendments”) to be known as the “Marketplace Allocation Area.”

    Written remonstrances to the Resolution and the actions provided for therein must be filed with the Commission at the office of the City Planner, 102 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Indiana, 46580 by 2:00 p.m. (local time) on Monday, March 7, 2022.

    At the public hearing, the Commission will hear any person interested in the proceedings and will consider all written remonstrances and objections that have been filed and will determine the public utility and benefit of the proposed Amendments.  The Resolution can be inspected at the office of the City Planner, 102 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, IN 46580.
