NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

CITY OF NAPPANEE PLAN COMMISSION

    The City of Nappanee Plan Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Nappanee City Municipal Center, 300 W. Lincoln Street, Nappanee, Indiana.

    The purpose of the Public Hearing is to hear Petition #01-23-PLN filed Mark Hutsell to request a rezoning from R2-Medium Density Residential to R4-Residential Office District. The property is located at 158 E. Centennial Street, Nappanee, Indiana.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY:

    Lots number Five (5) and Six (6) in Stahly’s First Addition to the Town, now City, of Nappanee, Indiana; as recorded in Deed Record 59, page 262, of the records of the Office of the Recorder of Elkhart County, Indiana.

    A copy of such proposal is on file in the office of the City Planner of the City of Nappanee, Indiana, City Municipal Building, 300 W. Lincoln St., Nappanee, Indiana. Written objections that are filed with the office of the City Planner of the City of Nappanee before the hearing will be considered.

    All concerned citizens will be offered the right to speak and voice their comment at the Public Hearing. The Public Hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.     

    Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity of the City should contact the Office of the City Clerk-Treasurer, 300 West Lincoln Street, Nappanee, Indiana 46550, (574)773-2112, [email protected] as soon as possible, but no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event.
