NOTICE TO ALL TAXPAYERS AND OTHER PERSONS INTERESTED IN  OR AFFECTED BY A POTENTIAL RESIDENTIAL HOUSING PROGRAM  OF THE NAPPANEE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION

    Taxpayers of the Nappanee Redevelopment District ("District"), and all other persons interested in or affected by the establishment of a residential housing program ("Housing Program") in the Wellfield Residential Housing Economic Development Area, are hereby notified that representatives of the Nappanee Redevelopment Commission ("Commission") will hold a public meeting on January 19, 2023 at the hour of 4:00 p.m., local time, at the meeting room at the School Administration Building, 1300 N. Main Street, Nappanee, IN 46550, to consult with persons interested in or affected by the proposed Housing Program and provide an opportunity to review, evaluate and provide recommendations on the proposed Housing Program.  

    On January 24, 2023, the Commission intends to consider the adoption of a declaratory resolution establishing the Wellfield Residential Housing Economic Development Area and the Wellfield Residential Housing Allocation Area (collectively, "Housing TIF Area") and preliminarily approve a housing program for the Housing TIF Area.  

    At the time fixed for the meetings or at any time prior thereto any person interested in the proceedings may review the Housing Program and file written comments with the Secretary of the Commission in the office of the City Clerk-Treasurer, City Hall, 300 West Lincoln Street, Nappanee, Indiana.  At such meeting, which may be adjourned from time to time, representatives of the Commission will hear all persons interested in the Housing Program.
