NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS

    Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of Kosciusko County, Indiana, that the Plain Township Board of said County will meet at the Plain Township Services Building at 7:00 PM on May 11, 2022 to consider the following additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the current year:

Plain Township General Fund

    0101-1AB     Salary of Clerical Help    2,500.00

Plain Township Cumulative Fire

    1190-4A     Cumulative    65,000.00

Plain Township Emergency Ambulance/Medical Service Civil

    1401-3A    Other Services & Supplies    45,000.00

    Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have a right to be heard.  The additional appropriation when finally approved will be referred to the Local Government Board of Finance.  The Board will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriations made within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a certified copy of the action taken.

Recently, the Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club donated $500 to the Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce to support Spooktacular, which will be held in downtown Warsaw from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25.
