NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE

CITY OF WARSAW ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION

    Notice is hereby given that the City of Warsaw Economic Development Commission will hold a public hearing at 1:00 p.m., local time, on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at the City of Warsaw City Hall, 102 South Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Indiana concerning the proposed issuance by the City of Warsaw, Indiana (the “City”) of its Economic Development Tax Increment Revenue Bonds, Series 2022 (Marketplace Project), in one or more series, in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed One Million Nine Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,900,000) (the “Bonds”).  The City will provide a portion of the proceeds of the Bonds to SW Warsaw, LLC or a related party (the "Developer"), to finance a portion of the costs of certain improvements to the property located at 2884 Frontage Road in the City and commonly known as “The Marketplace at Warsaw” (the “Project”) which is located in the Winona Interurban Redevelopment Area Marketplace Allocation Area (the “Allocation Area), created by the City of Warsaw Redevelopment Commission in the City.

    The Bonds will not be an indebtedness or general obligation of the City and will not be payable in any manner by the taxing power of the City.  The Bonds will be payable solely from tax increment revenues derived from the Allocation Area.

    At the time and place fixed for the public hearing, all taxpayers, residents or interested persons will be given an opportunity to express their views for or against the proposed financing in writing or in person.
