Manchester Volleyball Loses To Logansport

LOGANSPORT – Manchester Volleyball dropped its match against Logansport Tuesday, falling in four sets 20-25, 20-25, 25-20, 23-25. The loss drops the Lady Squire’s record to 5-12 this season.

McKelvey Espeset led Manchester with 10 kills. Paxton Baker had 28 assists, as well as 10 service points and 15 digs. Olivia Neal contributed an ace.

The Lady Squires play their next game Tuesday against Northfield.



Manchester Boys Soccer Falls To Mississinewa

NORTH MANCHESTER – Manchester boys soccer suffered a close loss at the hands of Mississinewa Wednesday 1-0.  The Squires are now 7-5 this season.

Both teams were unable to score in the first half of play. Mississinewa was able to score the lone goal of the game in the second half to secure the victory. The Squires managed eight shots on goal in defeat. Goalkeeper Kolby Haecker made 12 saves.

Manchester plays its next game Monday against Maconaquah.



Rain Causes Tennis Postponements

MISHAWAKA – Wednesday’s rain caused postponements of a few tennis matches in our coverage area.

The NLC tournament in Mishawaka was postponed to Thursday night. Whitko’s match against Wabash has been postponed to an unknown date. The HNAC tournament in Knox has been postponed to Friday.
