By Staff Report-
From Thursday to Saturday, Nov. 4-6, DePuy employees will volunteer in Habitat’s ReSale Outlet. In addition, DePuy employees will personally donate to raise money for the upcoming Habitat for Humanity house build, according to a news release from Habitat for Humanity. The build is taking place in Warsaw, and is for a grandmother named Missy, who is currently a contractor at DePuy.
“This truly is a win-win situation,” said Habitat Executive Director Ben Logan. “This hybrid volunteer and fundraising event is perfect for companies who want their employees to get involved in the community. We are very grateful for the DePuy Young Professionals and their support of this next build!”
Missy’s home will be the 35th house built by Habitat for Humanity of Kosciusko County.
“We hope we can all come together as an organization to live out our core values and care for one of our own,” said Cole Brown, a leader of the DePuy Young Professionals group. Cole, along with several other DePuy employees, are eager to volunteer during the takeover weekend, according to the news release. As they prepare to help run the ReSale Outlet for the weekend, they encourage their friends, family and other community members to come check out the store.
Everyone is invited to come to Habitat for Humanity’s ReSale Outlet and be a part of the fun. The store is at 3970 Corridor Drive, Warsaw, and is open Thursday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. All revenue generated supports Habitat’s mission to make homeownership a reality for more people in Kosciusko County.
