Promoted as the “Smallest County Fair in the state of Indiana,” the display will be open for viewing by the public at First Friday on Nov. 5 downtown Warsaw. The County Fair has been built and developed by local modeler Greg Steffe, and some of the rides of the HO scale display are rare. “Some of these miniature rides come from Europe so there aren’t many in Indiana,” said Steffe. The display will be at the KeyBank Lobby, 119 E. Center St., Warsaw, from 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 5. There is no admission to view the fair, but donations will be accepted for The Salvation Army of Kosciusko County, celebrating its 100th anniversary. Steffe has been working on this miniature fair for many years and enjoys the hobby, which is very popular in Germany and other European countries. “Most people build the midway, but I have developed the whole fairgrounds,” Steffe said. “We hope folks come out and remember the days of fun with the rides and attractions included.”
