“Whatever we can do to help in that process is really what we would love to do,” said Gabe Koser, LMHC, Human Wellness Collective.
Monday afternoon, the private practice counseling center had a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce.
“So, at this point, we’re a private practice counseling center and want to offer integrated solutions,” Koser said. “We have hopes to add different services in the coming years and hope to just keep moving further along in the path of just developing a wellness perspective that’s outside of what you’ve experienced currently.”
He said they just want to look at the human as a whole and do whatever they can to maximize a client’s experience.
“We hope to continue to develop more things that are helpful in other people’s wellness journeys and we’d love to work with other people and just bring other things to Warsaw that would be helpful. Thus, the collective,” Koser said.
Human Wellness Collective LMHC Tyler Zielasko has master’s degree in counseling and is a certified integrative mental health specialist. He has worked in the field for 10-15 years, but Human Wellness Collective is the first practice he’s owned.
Koser has a Master of Arts in local church ministry, Master of Divinity in counseling and a Master of Arts in clinical mental health counseling. He’s been working as a therapist for the last four years, but Human Wellness Collective is the first place he’s owned, too.
Asked what they bring to Warsaw that might be missing, Zielasko said, “I think, you go to your doctor, he might refer you out to a counselor, primarily though they’re going to talk about medications. We want to explore all of those different facets. The wellness collective part of it is to bring in other people – dieticians, nutritionists – supplemental types of things that you’re not going to get from your doctor, you’re not going to get from a traditional psychotherapist. Again, the whole human being. We want to look at all of those things: Your diet affects your physical health, your mental health, all of those types of things. Those are all connected so we want to be able to address all of those different things with you.”
For right now, Koser and Zielasko might refer a client to other experts, but over time they hope to integrate those experts into the Human Wellness Collective either through strategic partnerships or hiring the experts themselves.
“We would love to have a place that integrates different wellness aspects for people. That’s what I would hope to bring to Warsaw: Just a slightly different perspective ... There’s certain things we experience, all of us as human, that can create struggle, that can make this life challenging, that can really present obstacles, and we would love to remove as many of those obstacles as we can, or to provide solutions or help in any way we can to help people realize their potential, to really optimize their experience. We all struggle with different things. We all have different areas that we feel lacking or feel missing, and we’d love to provide as many opportunities for people to get those needs met as possible,” Koser said.
Zielasko said no referral is necessary, but they’ll take referrals. A person can just give them a call.
Koser said, “It’s not that we don’t want to work with doctors, we do. We’d love to work with doctors and just kind of work on what’s the best solution for each individual on an individual basis. We hope we get doctor referrals, but you don’t need doctor referrals in order to come see us.”

Hours typically are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but Koser said they’ve both already flexed on that and want to try to meet people’s needs where they are.
Zielasko said they typically meet clients one on one, but they’re happy to see couples and families as well.
“We’ve done a bit of all of that,” Koser said.
Koser said there’s been a lot happening recently that has created a need in mental wellness.
“We just really want to work to do whatever we can to meet those needs. Our goal is to bring high-quality therapy to the Warsaw area. Not that it’s not already here, but to do our best to provide quality service for people and meeting some of those needs that have been created – either by COVID or loss of jobs or loss of incomes or just being alone and isolated during that time. So we’d love to be able to help the community in whatever ways we can and look forward to doing that. Starting with counseling and then hopefully moving to some integrated things along the way,” Koser stated.
