The Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department’s annual Family Fun Night took place Friday evening at Lucerne Park. Many of the activities had long lines of families, especially the Balloon Twisters who twisted balloons into swords, bunnies and many other shapes. In another cabin at Lucerne Park, bat naturalist Daniel Peterson returned to Family Fun Night with his bats, skunk, sugar sliders and bare-tailed wooly opossum. Warsaw Community Public Library provided story telling, Kosciusko County Senior Services provided candy, Via Credit Union sponsored a camp fire and s’mores, First Baptist Church of Warsaw offered a photo booth and the Parks Department offered a tractor/hay wagon ride, which also was very popular.
