He was born on April 2, 1953, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Hazel Collins Goodman and Daniel Goodman.
Warren was a hard worker his entire life and spent 49 years employed at Chore Time Brock in Milford. He worked in the Brock Manufacturing section as a material handler. He made many friends at work and was known for his great sense of humor. Warren was a very generous man and helpful to people in need. He loved children and of course he had a big heart for animals. Warren loved to show horses and always had a great time when he was able to go coon hunting. He was one of those friendly guys that simply never knew a stranger. Warren will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
He leaves behind his fiancée, Lora Sizemore, Warsaw; two sons: Warren (April) Goodman, Jr., Jonathan William Goodman, both of Warsaw; three stepdaughters: Angela (Daniel) Zolman, Warsaw; Vanessa (Mark) Pohl, Winona Lake; Becky Logan, Warsaw; and three grandchildren: Ashland Kramer, Fort Wayne; Braxton Goodman, South Whitley; Wesley Goodman, Wilmot. Also surviving are three brothers: Daniel Goodman, Knox, Pa.; Chester (Jan) Goodman, Pierceton; Phillip Goodman, Larwill; three sisters: Mara Helblieg, Claypool; Virginia Morris, Warsaw; and Molly (Don) Gilbert, North Manchester.
He was preceded in death by his parents and stepson, Matt Sizemore.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. Warren’s life will be celebrated immediately following at 1 p.m. and officiated by Pastor Hedgel Perry. A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
