IN RE: THE PETITION OF TOWN OF WINONA LAKE
BEFORE THE TOWN COUNCIL OF WINONA LAKE, INDIANA
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that a petition has been filed with the Town Council of Winona Lake, Indiana by the Town of Winona Lake, requesting the vacation by ordinance of all of an alley platted in the Fifth Amended and Additional Plat to Winona Park, Winona Lake, Indiana between Lots 168 and Lot 70 as well as Lot 167 and Lot 71, and more particularly described as follows:
In the Fifth Amended and Additional Plat to Winona Park, Winona Lake, Indiana, beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 168; thence Northerly approximately fifteen feet (15') to the Southwest corner of Lot 70; thence eighty feet (80') along the South line of Lot 70 and Lot 71 to the Southeast corner of Lot 71; thence Southerly approximately fifteen feet (15') to the Northeast corner of Lot 167; thence eighty feet (80') along the North line of Lot 167 and 168 to the point of beginning.
This description is for the unimproved alley between Lots 168 and Lot 70 as well as Lot 167 and Lot 71, approximately fifteen feet (15') by forty eighty (80') in dimension.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Town Council of Winona Lake, Indiana, has set the petition for hearing at 6 p.m. on November 16, 2021, at the chambers of the Town Council, located in the Town Hall, 1310 Park Avenue, Winona Lake, Indiana.
Any person may appear and be heard with regard to the petition at the time, date and place above scheduled for hearing; or may send written comments or response to the Clerk-Treasurer of Winona Lake, Indiana, prior to the time and date set for hearing. After hearing the petition may be granted, denied, or continued and an ordinance may be introduced and passed according to law, providing for the vacation of the right-of-way described in this notice.
