Stacy and Chad Bice bought the store three years ago.
Wire & Steam had some renovations done, which started Sunday and were finished Thursday night. Some of those renovations included new paint, some work on the bar area, switching the service area and rearranging furniture.
The coffee shop started selling bagels Friday, Stacy said. New York bagels, brought in directly from New York, are being sold.
Stacy said no other new items were added, but “we did change up the format of our menu a bit.” Some of the items that Stacy highlighted included bubble tea, which she said is “huge right now.” She said their coffee comes from a place called Columbia Street Roastery, Champaign, Ill., which is delivered every other week.
Stacy said Wire & Steam is a good meeting place, especially since things are starting to open back up again.
Hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
