Grace Senior Haden Deaton Named NCCAA 1st Team All-American

The award is in addition to his third straight All-Crossroads League honor, repeating as a First Team honoree after earning the award as a junior. Deaton was honorable mention for All-League as a sophomore as well.
Deaton finished the regular season with a team-high 15.2 points per game to go along with 4.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. The rugged senior shot 47 percent from the field and 39 percent from the 3-point line.
Deaton also led Grace to a third place finish in the NCCAA National Championship Tournament earlier this month where he was named to the All-Tournament Team.
Joining Deaton on the 2021 Men's Basketball DI Awards list as Scholar Athletes are fellow Lancers Cade Gibbs and Jakob Gibbs, Cody Holmes and Matthew Jennings.
