The Town of Winona Town Council, Winona Lake, Indiana will receive sealed bids on a 25 cubic yard, self-contained chassis mount vacuum leaf collector at 2:00 P.M. local time on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Clerk-Treasurer’s Office at 1310 Park Avenue, Winona Lake, IN 46590. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 P.M. local time on June 14, 2021 at the Town Council Chambers, 1310 Park Avenue, Winona Lake, IN 46590. Any bids received after the designated time will be returned unopened.
The unit bid must meet the following description:
2021 Freightliner M2-106
Dual Steering Conversion
300 HP Cummins Engine
Allison Automatic Transmission
Power mirrors, locks and windows
50 Gallon chassis fuel tank
Backup Camera
25 cubic yard hopper capacity
Single top hinged rear door with spring counter balance
Replaceable slide-out exhaust screens
Kohler 4-cylinder Diesel (74 HP minimum)
Tier 4 Final certification
In Cab auxiliary engine start/stop and gauges
30 gallon, steel construction with integrated fuel gauge
Safety oil and temperature shutdown system
Logan Auto Engage Hydraulic Clutch.
30” diameter suction fan, six bladed, stress relieved and balanced
Replaceable fan housing liners, two piece, bolt-in, ?” thick
16” x 10’ heavy duty rubber suction hose, 7.5 pounds per foot
Quick disconnect hose
6 Way remote boom with engine driven hydraulics and in cab joystick controller
(4) Rear LED Strobe/Flashers
Three stage hydraulic dump cylinder/hoist, engine driven
LED lights and reflectors (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards)

The Town of Winona Lake Town Council reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bidding and to award contracts in the best interest of the Town of Winona Lake.
