The Turkey Creek Regional Sewer District ("District") is selling property located at 12061 N. 1000 E., Cromwell, IN 46732; including Parcel Numbers 43-04-12-200-067.000-025 and 43-04-12-200-386.000-025. Offers will be accepted at a public auction beginning August 9, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. The sale will conclude on that date at the end of the auction. The auction will be held at 4852 N. 1200 W., Cromwell, IN 46732. The District has determined a minimum bid for the property/properties in the amount of $8,000 per acre. The property will be offered in individual parcels or in combinations. Any purchase will be subject to a 20 foot wide sanitary sewer easement abutting Beau Peep Lane (if applicable); an option for the District to purchase 1 acre from parcel 2 immediately adjacent the District's retained parcel; and subject to a farm lease expiring February 28, 2022. There will be open bidding on all tracts during the auction as determined by the licensed auctioneer. The properties will be sold to the highest bidders, who will be required to enter into purchase agreements at the auction site immediately following the close of the auction. Final acceptance is contingent upon approval by the Board of Trustees of the Turkey Creek Regional Sewer District, which will occur immediately following a public hearing on August 16, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. The property will not be sold to any person who is ineligible under Indiana Code § 36-4-11-16. Any offer submitted by a trust must identify each beneficiary of the trust and each settlor empowered to revoke or modify the trust.
