IN RE: THE PETITION OF
MORRIS E. JONES AND CYNTHIA L. JONES
TO THE CITIZENS OF KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, INDIANA
You are hereby notified that a petition has been filed with the County Commissioners of Kosciusko County, Indiana by Morris E. Jones and Cynthia L. Jones, requesting the vacation by ordinance of a certain undeveloped and unimproved right-of-way/lane located in Lake View Acres Subdivision, and more particularly described as follows:
Lot 24 in the Lake View Acres Subdivision as recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Kosciusko County, Indiana, on October 19, 1978, at Plat Book Number 7, page 79.
The area proposed to be vacated is described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 24 in the Plat of Lake View Acres, as the point of beginning; thence Southerly to the West Corner of Lot 1 in Lake View Acres; thence Westerly a distance of 144.5 feet along a line parallel to the South line of Lot 24; thence Northerly 50 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 24; thence East along the South line of Lot 24 to the point of beginning.
Alternatively, the area to be vacated is described as all of Sunset Lane lying Southward of Lot 24.
You are hereby notified that the Board of Commissioners of Kosciusko County, Indiana, has set the above petition for hearing at 9:15 o'clock a.m., on August 17, 2021, at the Commissioner's Room, Old Courthouse, 100 West Center Street, Warsaw, Indiana
46580.
Any person may appear and be heard upon the petition at the time, date and place above scheduled for hearing and/or may send written comments or response to the Auditor of Kosciusko County, Indiana, 100 West Center Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580, prior to the above time and date set for hearing.
After hearing, the petition may be granted, denied or continued, and an ordinance may be introduced and passed according to law, providing for the vacation of said real estate.
