Oliveira transferred to Grace after his freshman year and helped the Lancers earn national recognition during his three years in the red and black.
Oliveira helped Grace appear in three straight NCCAA national tournaments. After his senior year, he was named NCCAA Second Team All-American.
Oliveira scored three goals and had nine assists en route to a 16-win season in 2018.
“He definitely will be on the field this year. He’s a talent, and I’m excited to see how he gels with this group. He’s well known around the MASL and had several offers this year,” said Florida coach Clay Roberts. “He definitely could be a Rookie-of-the-Year type player.”
The MASL is the highest level of professional indoor soccer in the world. The MASL features teams across North America, including the United States and Mexico.
Through four games this season, the Florida Tropics lead the East Division and sit in second place in the overall league standings. Oliveira has tallied two assists this year.
