OF ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING AN ECONOMIC REVITALIZATION AREA AND PUBLIC HEARING ON SUCH DESIGNATION
Notice is hereby given that on December 20, 2021, the Warsaw Common Council adopted Economic Revitalization Area Declaratory Resolution No. 2021-12-05, which Resolution provides in substance as follows:
Whereas the real estate located at 3350 Lake City Highway, Warsaw, lN 46580, as more fully described in the Resolution ("Real Estate") has become undesirable for, or impossible of, normal development and occupancy, and the occupancy of the eligible vacant building located on the Real Estate would benefit and would promote the welfare of all citizens and taxpayers in Warsaw, Kosciusko County, the Council found, declared, and designated the Real Estate to be an economic revitalization area as defined in Ind. Code § 6-1.1-12.1-1 ("ERA"). The Town Council also declared that deductions for five (5) years for the eligible vacant building located in the ERA would be granted.
A description of the affected area is available and can be inspected in the Kosciusko County Auditor's Office.
The Council also found that it should approve the Statement of Benefits filed by AJM, LLC WARSAW lN ("Company") for occupancy of the eligible vacant building located on the Real Estate for such 5 year abatement deductions.
A public hearing on these matters will be held by the Warsaw Common Council on Januaty 18, 2022, at 7:00 o'clock P.M. in the Warsaw City Hall, 102 N. Buffalo St., Warsaw, lN 46580. At this hearing, Council will: (1) receive and hear all remonstrances and objections from interested persons, (2) shall take final action determining whether the qualifications for an economic revitalization area have been met and confirming, modifying and confirming, or rescinding the Resolution, after considering the evidence and (3) shall take final action on the Statement of Benefits.
