NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS

    Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of the City of Warsaw, Kosciusko County, Indiana, that the proper legal officers will consider the following additional appropriation in excess of the budget for the current year at their regular meeting place of 102 S. Buffalo Street, at 7:00 p.m., on the 3rd day of January, 2022.

Motor Vehicle Highway    $350,000

Motor Vehicle Highway Restricted    $350,000

Cumulative Capital Improvement    $75,000

Cumulative Capital Development    $505,000

Economic Development Income Tax    $2,142,622

Redevelopment General    $315,000

Fire Territory Operating    $5,140,341

Fire Territory Equipment    $462,600

    Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have a right to be heard. The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF). The DLGF will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriation within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken. The meeting will be held in-person and also streamed live online at warsaw.in.gov/watchcitymeetings.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity of the City of Warsaw, should contact the City Planner, 102 S.
